for 9/11 and showed bush* as a decisive leader who jumped into action the moment the attack began? ABC was defiant about showing it, even after evidence was presented that the film was wrong in most of its facts? Do we really think they'll go after Palin?

Do you think that Charlie Gibson has set aside enough of his $million+ salary that he'd risk his job by asking probing questions? The interview is going to be shown during the nightly newscast, and will most likely be a pre-taped package ("I sat down with Governor Palin for an interview..."). Do you think ABC might do what CBS did and edit the interview (like Couric's with McCain) to show Palin in the best light possible? Do you think they'll dedicate more than 2 and a half minutes to the interview?

I want to see her be interviewed by Jon Stewart -- or by that young Irish reporter who had bush* apoplectic when she wouldn't let him get away with his crap. The Gibson interview is going to be scripted -- she'll deflect any tough questions with a smile and a quip or blaming the partisanship which she and McSame will change -- but it'll let the campaign say, "See, she's given an interview -- now quit asking for another one, you sexist liberal elite press!"
