I watched a little of Barrack on Orielly last night.
I finally had to turn it off. I had never seen a Presidential candidate
treated this way.Bill was loud and talking over Barrack, mocking and snearing. I wish Barrack had caught him on the chin.

Remember the times Bill kissed bush's ass in a couple of interviews.

3. Supposedly it was part of a deal.
Obama met with Fox Noise's leader-guy (I forget his name) and its owner after he boycotted the Dem debate they were supposed to have, and they offered to have him come on Fox to see that they'd treat him fairly. I didn't see it, but it sounds like he just proved his point about their being a propaganda channel.

12. I did not see it either - cannot watch oreilly without my blood pressure
going out-of-whack.

I much prefer a boycott like during the primaries.

4. Did they put him in a 'darker light' to make him look more African American?
I can't remember the exact incident, but didn't they do this to someone a few years back to make them look more 'Arab'? I know that they recently photoshopped photos of certain journalists to make them look more Jewish. :wtf: They definitely learned their race-baiting techniques from Goebbels.

7. i saw it this morning online and expected the worst but was
pleasantly surprised...Obama more than held his own and did not get run over...Billo did what he does but Obama handled him...Of course this was just the first part, if the next 3 segments go the same way, then Obama comes out unscathed...

8. I thought it went quite well, actually
The comments by the other talking heads on the show were generally favorable. The only criticism offered was that he was "unable to admit that the surge worked"

Remember, this is supposedly Obama's weakness (according to them), and he handled it well.

14. Of course the FACT is bush's "surge" did not work.
It was, and is, in FACT, a total failure.

Soon even the rightwingnuts will be forced to admit the fact. Of course they'll continue trying to trick con dupe fool the rightwingnuttery for as long as possible.

15. True that.
Obama made that clear, in a very clever and calculated way.

He said, "In many ways, the surge has been remarkably successful", implying that it was not successful in its primary purpose (that of political reconciliation). Even BillO admitted that the goalposts have been moved re the escalation.

11. didn't watch it
I debated about watching billo - but figured he would just be an ass and not let Obama speak. From the posts, I see that I was right, glad I didn't watch
