PATERNITY TESTING

My friends this is the first post I am making on Democratic Underground, I have only responded so far. I am not computer savvy enough to know how to do it...I would love to see an online petition disseminated through the various progressive blogs calling on the Palins to take a paternity test.

Friday should be "national paternity" day. Since the repukes will done with their propaganda fest on Thursday and every one is still there, why not have Todd, Sarah, Trig, Bristol and Levi all go down and get tested. That way it is done in a neutral state (no fixing the results) and each of them are still together. Maybe we can put the speculation to rest and get on with the serious discussions this country needs.

Please help me in setting this up! Peace to all!!!

First of all, that's the first time I've heard anyone in the campaign/political press throw out the notion of paternity tests. So Schmidt is to blame for bringing that issue into the mainstream. If anyone is smearing the candidate, it's Schmidt. This is as cynical a tactic as I've ever seen in politics.

Secondly, how can it be a "smear" if it was during an off the record lunch with McCain campaign aides?

Thirdly, hey, colleagues, you're on notice: Steve Schmidt does not respect "off the record." Watch your backs, my friends.

There are far too many things to attack this idiot on. Corruption, cronyism, lack of historic knowledge, the list goes on and on. I'll have nothing to do with something like a petition for a paternity test. I'd take the energy you have for this and put it to good use looking into her past for other, non-family related items.

Why not focus instead on her position on key issues. There is no need for this intrusion.
