I encourage everyone to watch the GOP convention very carefully
Please take as much time as you can to watch them. Listen to their false claims of patriotism. Listen to their lies and half-truths - so many of them that even Keith Olbermann and Tweety have to make clarifications after many interviews. Watch them bathe in their sheer utter hypocrisy. Take it all in.

Most importantly, allow yourself to get angry, mad, seething. Get to the point where you shout at the TV, throw things, cuss and swear.

Now take this anger and do something about it. Go to the https://donate.barackobama.com/page/contribute/dncd4p1?source=mainnav">Obama website to donate money. Go to the Obama website to http://origin.barackobama.com/states">volunteer and get involved. Find out about the Senate or Congressional races in your state/district.

Get involved. Contribute. Donate. Do SOMETHING!

Turn the GOP sleezefest into a motivation tool for you to get involved in this election.

Take your anger and do something positive with it.

2. I couldn't get angry last night like I did in '04
I just laughed. At the speakers and at the godawful crowd, if you could call it a crowd. They're irrelevant to me.

3. True, that
It's become a carnival side show. However, when one thinks about the possibility that some of them might hold public office, it's downright frightening.
