Out of the blue prediction:
McCain will postpone the RNC because of Gustav, meanwhile more and more dirt about Palin will keep rising to the surface to the point where she's forced to withdraw her name for vp, which causes McCain to have a public meltdown, and at the last minute the Republicans draft Jeb Bush in his place.

OK, maybe a little far-fetched, but not entirely out of the question.

... to 'help the victims of Gustav'. :puke:

Hypocritical, Opportunistic Fucks.

8. ANYTHING to get out of making convention speeches!
No way do they want McCain's speech (and the rest of the hot air) getting compared side-by-side with Obama!

Who do you think Jebby will pick as his running mate? Maybe Cheney again for his third presidential term?

6. Then will come the obligatory "I don't want to be a distraction in Sen McCain's campaign"
so I withdraw my acceptance of his offer"..followed up by a ever so sad McCain press conference blaming us Dems over her dropping out.

9. I absolutely agree! The moment her nomination was announced, I had a premonition ...
... that she wouldn't still be on the ticket come election day. I had that prickly feeling on the back of my neck. That McGovern-Eagleton prickly feeling.
