Stopped in a a buddy's antiques store ........
We always talk politics.

I walk in this morning. A guy with a big dog and a younger woman are there. Not together, just there at the same time. I greet my buddy, who was just finishing a conversation with the guy with the dog.

My buddy looks at me. "Hey, ya like that gift they gave us yesterday?"

"Hahahaha"

We're both chortling and ranking on her. All G-rated, but still biting.

The young woman comes around the corner from another room. She's laughing, too. Says she was listening to us and enjoying our comments. She chuckles a bit more.

She and my buddy talk about some antiques.

She gives pleasant good-byes and leaves.

He sez to me: "You know who she is?"

Me, who has never seen her before sez, appropriately: "No."

"Her mother is head of the Republican Party"

Seems this fruit fell waaaaaaay far from the tree.
