which should have LONG AGO translated into "don't believe everything you see on your own d*mn teevee" RIGHT IN YOUR OWN LIVING ROOM!!!! I think Willie Nelson did a song about that a few years ago.

I don't watch teevee. I have a small one with an antennae....that the kidz watch. On Feb. 17, 2009 it will be totally useless. And on Feb. 18, 2009 it will get kicked to the curb as garbage clutter.....that's what it is now, but I *humor* the kidz.

Perhaps one can have better opinions when one "forms their own", rather than having media outlets form opinions/buzz for you? :think:

4. I think it will charge up their base for a little while at least.

Take my conservative parents (please!). Last spring they were complaining that all they had to choose from were "an old man, a black man, and a woman!"

Now they've warmed up to McSame a little, but just weren't charged up. Today's announcement has made them intrigued and interested again. It's as if they just want something amusing to watch--nevermind that this is an election with serious consequences.

I had thought they wouldn't go for a woman, but was shocked to hear that they are delighted. But once the novelty wears off and they think this through a little, I wonder if they will become less enthused.
Any dirty secrets about her need to come out soon, before they fall in love.
