1. WTF is with this music?
I mean...the words are relevant, I guess...but a country song? THAT'S A BIT MUCH. But yea, fantastic speech...I'm really looking forward to having a president I can be proud of.

10. Just sending the republicans a message with it....
The Democrats own them now, in their ownership society.

14. The country song was a good touch
since that was the song Bush used to use to close his events. Obama basically blocked McCain from using by having it so prominent at his speech.

3. It was a very good speech
His vision for GLBT people is a little uninspiring, though. We don't get marriage equality, but we get to visit our sick partners in the hospital.

11. From the GLBT perspective it wasn't exactly "I have a dream",
but maybe in 45 years there will be a gay President.

8. What a show of force the whole stadium event was!
They packed that stadium full and rocked the place! McLame's acceptance speech is going to look puny just on the comparison of the setting alone, even before you get to the substance.

15. Very surprising. But he actually said that it was the best convention speech he had ever heard.
The MSNBC crew was astonished, to say the least.
