Both Cheney and Rove realize the fact that the U.S. and Russia are not at war; and it’s their fault. “But, it’s not like we didn’t give the old college try.” Said Rove to Judith Miller, reporter for the Times. “We did all we could,” Cheney said with a tear in his eye. “Do you know how much pressure we’re under to get another war going before the election? It’s not easy. The CIA, our CIA, undercut us with Iran; that was a tough pill to swallow.” “Which left us scrambling for a new country when John, (McCain) put the idea out there of a new cold war,” Rove interjected. “That’s when Dick here said, ‘Cold, go F yourself, make it hot!’ well everyone in the room, but George of course, saw the brilliance in that.” Judith, being the intrepid report she’s always been, asked why Bush was against this. “Oh he wasn’t against this,” Rove said, “he was just engrossed in the show, Cheaters…he loves that show.” Both Cheney and Rove swear they won't let the country down and they beg for your patience and forgiveness. “We’ll give you a war no matter what,” Cheney yelled as the war room door was closing.
