3. He's not a lawyer.
I'd still go with John Edwards. Give him something constructive to do.

23. Well, that will never happen in a Obama/Biden administration.
That was made clear by the censoring of Kucinich's speech.

There will be no accountability for the last 8 years. They'll call it "moving forward" or "not dwelling on the past".

26. Edit/censor.... To me they're the same in this case.
I don't have a link ('cause I'm too lazy too dig it up :) ) but the story is up on DU in the GD forum.

Kucinich was made/asked to drop the line (paraphrasing) "They're asking for another four years. I think they should get 10 to 20."

I've told that story to many people, including many die-hard repukes and they all laughed at the line, thinking it was very funny and there that was no need to censor it.

So it begs the question, why did the Obama team feel the need to delete it if they want accountability?

I know the answer though many here are still naively hopeful.

27. that line sounds really familiar
maybe he said it anyway, or maybe i heard it in another context. but i agree with you. it really bugs me, and has for a long time, that the democrats are not screaming for their heads (the party bureaucracy i mean). their crimes are so many and so well known.

enforcing the law.

10. John Edwards.
What he did was wrong, but certainly no worse than what John McSame did. At least, John and Elizabeth are still together, John didn't dump her for a younger edition.

John Edwards is the one to go after the GOP.

16. probably not going to be anyone who has held elected office
The DOJ was infected with excessive partisanship by chimpy and his gang. Obama is looking to change the way things are done. He won't go with someone who ran for/held elected office. He'll find a veteran prosecutor or possibly a law school administrator. It will be someone 99 percent of the public has never heard of.

He was one of Barack's first supporters in Iowa. An Irish Dem who is a fighter, but well respected by both parties in Iowa.
