It feels good to get your gripe off your chest. The thing is, when you're a cable network devoted to ratings and the corresponding profits, people offering complaints who obviously are tuning in to watch the show they are complaining about are counted as "viewers". The fact that you are an "unhappy viewer" doesn't matter. You are simply another viewer, another ratings point.

These networks thrive on controversy (see Disunity, Democratic), and they know that there are some who will tune in just so they can get mad. And then complain.

Look at all the people who post here whining about Washington Journal on C-SPAN. They watch the whole thing, then they complain. They are "devoted viewers" and the networks want more of them.

Otherwise, it's tiresome. Joe is an egotist who talks all the time, interrupts all of his guests, and has nothing substantial to say. Add the braying of Pat Buchanan to the mix and Mika's timorous and oh so ladylike reproaches and the show is like having all of your most annoying relatives over for breakfast.
