This is absurd.

I can't even count how often I've been there in the last 6 years. It's a well-worn path. That's where I was taken for my TIA. That's where our doctors are. That's where my mother goes. That's where my stepsister went for her angioplasty. Etc. Etc. Etc.

The weather was overcast, rainy, and gloomy today. No wonder. Satan's minions are in town. :puke:

She looked mortified.

Okay dokey. Maybe. But I had a case of carpal tunnel once (I work on a computer 10+ hours per day), and my HMO handed me an ACE bandage and sent me home...

I had to keep working through the pain because the bills don't pay themselves. I hardly slept for a month because the pain was so severe. But hey, I don't have the kind of health insurance our representatives do.

33. Somebody shook her hand too vigorously. But fear not, she will rejoin the campain tomorrow
Link to CNN story: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/08/13/cindy-mccain-suffers-injury-on-the-campaign-trail/

"At some point during the rope line an enthusiastic supporter shook Mrs. McCain’s hand and exacerbated an existing carpal tunnel condition,” said spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker. “Out of an abundance of caution, she decided to leave the event and visit the local hospital for x-rays where she was treated for a minor sprain."

UPDATE: The campaign reports that Cindy McCain will return to active campaigning on Thursday.

Cindy McCain, who has a brace on her right arm, told reporters she was "fine." Her husband said Wednesday afternoon that someone shook her hand "too vigorously."
