This viral video was made by a company that makes headsets for cellphones -- yup, it's not a home movie, just a deceptive annoying advertising campaign.

9. I saw a video showing how it was done. Very simple, actually.

Someone dropped the popped corn from above out of camera range. An unpopped kernel was digitally removed each time a popped kernel "appeared". Very simple, but effective.
