2. It's meaningful because Edwards paid her over $100,000 of PAC money to do a job
In a field she had no experience in, and has never worked in since.

If a Republican did that, all anybody on DU would post about would be the payment to her of $100,000 of PAC money - - and there would be 24/7 calls for a criminal investigation.

... because, thankfully, Edwards lost.

However, it is relevant to his future public career (if any). His One America Committee paid this woman over $100 K for video work. If that was just a sham so that they could spend time together, Edwards has a big PR problem and possible a legal problem too.

I don't care who he fucks.

But given the climate of this country, and this media, he should have realized that running for president with this cloud over his head was not a good idea. There's far too much at stake.

That's the error in judgment.
