Edwards: From a purely cynical perspective...
...maybe this and the Olympics will suck up all the oxygen so that Obama will be able to vacation without losing a lot of ground. Also, maybe this will help him with women voters. He's already getting most of them, but maybe there are some holdout Hillary supporters (and even some Republican women) who will be reminded of McCain's adulterous history, esp. with Miss Buffalo Chip. Some may even remember their irritation at Bill Clinton for his peccadilloes.

By comparison, Barack and his relationship with Michelle appears to be very loving and respectful with no hint of any scandal. And you know the Clintons and the Republicans have looked under every rock in Illinois trying to find anything resembling a bimbo eruption, not to mention Michelle would have 'cut his ass' if he'd ever tried it.

1. Yes - but the M$M
are keeping mum on McCains penis issues......most "low-information" voters don't know that McCain is a whore.

2. This is where the Dem surrogates need to grow a spine
and cut the MSM's Edwards narrative off at the knees by bringing up the McCain parallel whenever one of the pundits or interviewers tries to bring up Edwards or try to link it to Obama. That tack apparently helped shut down David Gregory's shit-stirring about Edwards and Obama today.

3. I was on plane a few days ago with people from illinois
and asked as your senator how do you feel about Obama? they loved him and raved about him. I wanted to hear from someone in his own state.

4. I thought this earlier today but then watched Smears to the White House
and David Gregory still took about 20 minutes to bash Obama and prop up McClown.
