8. Why was Hatfill still a person of interest after March 31, 2005??
The FBI confronted Ivins on March 31 with evidence that he had submitted the wrong sample, that the true sample had the same markers as the letters, and he had no explanation for the additional time he had been spending at work.

Bottom of page 10/top of page 11. At that point, he looked like a prime suspect. Presumable, they had the OBL email at that time too, plus the evidence of his mental state.

What was it about Hatfill that prevented them from preceding against Ivins?
