Why is there NO outrage that bush hasn't gotten Osama bin Laden?
If it had been a Democratic president, no such lack of outrage would exist.

2. If anyone really tries to hold the fascist Bush regime responsible
for their crimes, such as giving the Bin Laden family a pass after 911 they will be jailed and tortured. :dem:

5. Once my suspicions that he was incompetent were confirmed, say
2001 and reaffirmed many times--outrage was wasted. :banghead:

Although, some of us had hope that the codpiece held would make a difference.

6. I had the idea that bin Laden is either living at Camp David
or else Miami Beach, as a guest of the US government, black operations division.

If he were to be caught or provably killed, the steam would have gone out of Bush's ego war in Iraq and Bush would have been unsatisfied.

This way there is still a fox for the hounds to persue.

7. Numbness, GOP media control, TV induced apathy, but mostly, intense overload of offenses!
I also think that in general, politicians are now their own class (maybe always have been) - more interested in protecting their power and position than representing us. I am utterly disgusted at it all.

10. In one of the debates in 2004, Bush was aghast when John Kerry "claimed"
that Bush said he wasn't all that concerned abut ObL.

"I don't believe I said that!", Dumbya said, incredulously ...

and yet, the "liberal media", out to put down Bush any way that they could, didn't bother to say one thing ... one of the few press conferences Bush ever had where he answered questions, the media would have that on tape ...

but no ... the media had to make sure that they wouldn't live up to the myth that it was liberal, so it could never EVER contradict Bush ...

So, why would you think that the media would be outraged that ObL was not eliminated by Bush?

Mind you, 10 seconds after swearing in, Barack Obama will be blamed for not having captured or killed Osama bin Laden, and the "liberal media" will be photoshopping pictures to make it look like his VP was ObL.

11. The same reason as there being no outrage for LIHOP and lying us into a pre-emptive
war of aggression (a monstrous war crime by definition) featuring unfettered mass torture. But hope springs eternal that the somnolent American people will begin connect a few of the dots. :D

13. "It's not that important", according to Mr. Bush!
"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him."
- G.W. Bush, responding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts,
3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)

Did we really believe that Bin Laden was anything more than a "convenient" excuse for going to war? Bush needed a "Pearl Harbor incident" and Bin Laden gave it to him. As long as Bin Laden exists, Bush believes his own job is secure.

20. BushCo fully understand the nation's attention span and levels of Personal Inconvenience.
They know that they can easily outwait anything at all, and they do so. It's fairly plain to see if you look back at their actions. They just go about business as usual, and outwait our momentary fuming.

They have plenty of money and luxury to outwait any noise going on outside their windows. The dog barks but they know that it has no bite.

Meanwhile they slowly erode freedom and turn America into The Company Store. They know that they have to do it slowly because large changes cause rebellion.

Did I mention that they are mocking us to our faces as they do so? They're mocking us to our faces as they do so.
