The Price of Oil Makes Me Laugh and Cry at the Same Time...
Edited on Sun Jun-29-08 06:00 PM by politicallore
It's sad, sick, and fucked up at the same time...

I was at the pump today... Filling up the tank (it's not a gas guzzler...) and my anger turned into sickness.... then it turned into a nervous laugh... The Laugh Grew.

http://www.reddit.com/info/6pivl/comments/
Reddit, and Rec...

This is sick.

7. how many gallons is your tank...?
premium is generally 20 cents more per gallon than regular...for 12 gallons that would be $2.40.

if your car needs premium, you'd be better off getting that, and putting a couple pints less in the tank.

3. It's hard.
I generally check www.gasbuddy.com when I'm planning to buy gas. We very rarely drive, so luckily we can stretch a tank for 5 or 6 weeks.

because it get better mileage than my SUV. The thing that stinks is that each vehicle needs at least 76-90 to fill them from empty. I know its going to be a dismal summer with car shows because of the costs. A lot of charities will lose out as many people just park their vehicles.

6. Look at the bright side
Its great for the environment as it will reduce the use of fossil fuels. In fact, a true environmentalist should welcome these prices.

9. Do the environmentalists walk to work?
What about the person that has a minimum wage job and has to use a huge percent of his income to get there. Think the environment is important to them?

14. I hope they plan on buying a car for those that can't afford new ones.
Its nice to talk about getting away from fossil fuels but many people out there cannot afford to purchase a wiz bang car that needs expensive batteries or other gizmo's to keep it going. Don't even mention a used one because thats worst come battery time.
