16. Why is his site still soliciting donations for the primary and not the general election?

The disclaimer at the bottom of the donation site says that the first $2300 goes to the primary, and only after that does money go into the fund for the general election.

I'd like to ensure that my money goes towards fighting McCain.

Just wondering if anybody knows why it's still structured that way.

For the purposes of campaign finance disclosure, the primary doesn't end until the convention. So Obama can continue to raise and spend primary money until then. But even though it is officially primary money, for all intents and purposes it's being used to campaign against McCain.

27. Step up to the plate? I think most of us already have. 22 million in one weeks

is not pocket change. Believe me, the Obama camp is not hurting for money. The only reason to turn down 84 million is to know that I can get more than that another way. I have already donated the max to both Dem candidates. After a week like this past one, I am having some buyer's remorse. Let the flames begin.
