On soldiers and dolphins--Check THIS out!
I once swam with the dolphins at Island Dolphin Care in Key Largo, FL. Recently, some soldiers who came back (injured/disabled) from Iraq and Afghanistan got that chance. They went SCUBA diving, too. Check out these photos!

2. Awww I wanna swim with Dolphins
People who don't understand what conservation is about have never interacted with another intelligent animal. I've never been with Dolphins but elephants, horses, and puppies are amazing wonderful caring creatures.

7. I wonder
how stressful it is for the dolphins to be care providers for humans. I am sure they are well taken care of (as well as humans can care for wild animals) but I wonder if they need some kind of relief, too.

8. Dolphins support the troops. Chimps don't.
well, not that chimp, anyway.

I have been on swims in both the ocean (off Makua Beach on O'ahu) and in pools (Sea Life Park, at the other end of O'ahu, and at Dolphin Quest here and on Big Island).
