Jerri -Finance-reporter on CNN uses some highly charged terminology.
She was going over proposed tax plans of McSame and Obama. When she got to the bracket of people making over 2 million a year, she commented that Obama's plan "penalizes" them by increasing their taxes by $700K. How about saying Obama's plan requires those with more to contribute their fair share?

1. I'm sure it's her perspective --
she's probably one of those earning 2 million a year.

2. Can we PLEASE make journalism a working-class job again?
These rich Buffys and Fauntleroys are simply killing journalism, though they are far from the only ones responsible.

Can we PLEASE get some journalists who have actually had to WORK for a living?

4. And don't care about getting millions for face lifts, botox, etc, etc.
I'm tired of "beauty" being a prerequisite for tv journalism.

5. Sounds like she is also bad at math or trying to mislead.

She sounds like she's getting the $700,000.00 amount from 2,000,000.00 income. The actual increase from returning to the Clinton top rates would be $74,000 on 2 million. If she's going to quote the average amount (if that is what she's doing) she should quote the average income for that assumption. If it is based based on a 4.5% increase then it would be about an income of $16,000,000.00 (after deductions credits ect.)

7. The usual Bushie strategy: When in doubt LIE.
A key aphorism in understand the modern Toady Media/Bush Lie Machine Nexus.

If a person's paycheck depends on them making a "mistake", expect them to make that same "mistake" every day.

Bushies lie. They lie more often and bigger lies than anything I have ever heard of outside the 3rd World.

Of course, the argument could be made, very successfully, IMO, that Imperial Amerika is ALREADY part of the 3rd World.
