The business I work for received a letter today from a member of the Saudi royal family who lives in the USA and imports our product into Saudi Arabia. He said the market for our product is very strong in Saudi Arabia but he is upset because we have recently increased the price of our product. He DEMANDED (his word) that we honor the prices we quoted when we started doing business with him 5 years ago.

Needless to say, we had a good laugh over it in our management meeting today. It's unbelievable that a person of Saudi Royalty would have to be reminded about the financial pressures on US businesses due to the rising cost of energy.

We'll supply all their "product X" needs at 2000 prices if they supply gasoline to all our cars at 2000 prices.
