discriminatory, and beneath us!

We had a younger candidate oppose our (very loved) Senator Akaka who attacked him on age. He came off as a total boor, and Senator Akaka won a very substantial victory.

Ageism is a low blow and we don't need to go there. There are ample other weaknesses we can highlight.

Aloha.

1. Aloha. It's not his age, it's his feeble, stammering unawareness. nt

5. Obama wouldn't attack McSame on his age...
but I sure will. No more dementia ridden geriatric cases ala Ronnie Raygun!

6. I don't think I agree. Maybe not attack, but I feel it is fair to question it.
Look, IMHO, you cannot be to AA to be president, nor can you be too female, but I do think you can be too old. Being an oldster myself, I know that we must must must win this election (supreme court) so i am not willing to exclude any tactic.

7. Agree - automatically alienates all the geezers
who are the most dependable voting segment.

On the other hand -- those geezers know how much more difficult big tasks are when you are aching and need a nap. BUT they still want to be seen as spry and up to whatever challenges the days ahead bring.

Instead - Dems can insert "vigorous", "nimble", "open to new ideas" etc. to frame Obama without mentioning that McLame is singularly lacking in these qualities.

8. It's pretty much the level of lack of discourse around here, it's to be expected.

9. Exactly, However, his feeble manner, his hesitation, his temper, and his
obvious discomfort in large crowds should certainly be fair game.

10. His policies and closeness to Bush will be plenty.

Pissing off elderly voters in either party is not the way to endear them to an Obama presidency.

No, McCain needs to be destroyed for his connections to Bush, the Keating 5, "straight talk express" while using lobbyists, etc.

Senator Obama has already taken the high road in so many ways, I think we'll do fine by smacking McCain around for his voting record and his associates. And unlike the attacks on Obama's associates, McCain's are money related.
