I hope the people in California are fully aware of prop 98
all renters will surely get screwed if this abomination and pack of lies gets through. Please be well aware and vote NO! on 98.

1. I remember first reading this prop
I was like, hmmm... sounds okay, everything seems to be in order here, then... WHAAAAA?! oh, isn't that cute.

2. What worries me is that the news reports...
...I've seen all seem to be spinning the story that it has no chance of passing. Just last night, some talking hairdo or other was making a big point about how it needs a 2/3 majority, which it will never get, so don't worry about it.

Sounds like some folks are trying to lull the voters to sleep. I wonder why...

3. Even as a landlord I am totally against Prop 98...
it has more attachments to it than an e.mail to grandma.

4. The anti-98 group has done really good educational advertising.
Hopefully, people are listening. "Getting rid of rent control" should get a lot of folks' attention.

7. I am a renter and know ALL about the Trojan horse that is Prop 98.
The ads all claim it is about eminent domain, but that's BS. The REAL reason this Prop was put on the ballot is to PERMANENTLY ELIMINATE ALL RENT CONTROL and renter's rights in CA.

NO ON 98!!!!!!!!

8. Anything sponsored by the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers' Group
gets an automatic NO from me.

I can't stand their ads. I hate when people claim the Constitution guarantees life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness: read the documents already, guys.
