This sounds obsessive, but something kept nagging me about the glory hog, who, at every veterans holiday, manages to get himself in front of media cameras. In the first thread, I was trying to figure out why he was labeled as a "Desert Storm" vet, since he didn't become eligible to join the VFW until 2-3 years ago, because he hadn't served OVERSEAS ("foreign" wars) until his National Guard unit spent 6 months in Gitmo as guards and he was too young to have been in Desert Storm.

So I had e-mailed info from Google about Desert Storm dates (1991) and the posts in the other thread to friends, with the newspaper pic and a pic of me in MY VFW cap.

Then now, about to delete it, something about the pics was "off." ONE of us was wearing the cap BACKWARDS!1 Now, just to be sure, I checked out some VFW websites for pics of people wearing the caps, and SURE ENOUGH, the dweeb glory hog has his freeking cover on BACKWARDS!1
