Recount: Watch it and Never Forget...
Yes, it's painful to watch. This should be required by every student in the US so they will see how democracy was circumvented.

Everyone should see how the republican party hijacked a presidential election.

2. That movie was well-done and 137% correct
In their portrayal of the Republicans. It was powerful, and I was pissed off after watching it. I think it really went below the surface of the controversy, and showed how each side tried to finagle their way into the White House. Definitely one of the best movies of 2008!

I think HBO should let up and let other networks show this movie. It's powerful and the truth needs to be heard.

12. How can Baker live with what he did?
He used to be a Democrat. Does he have the temerity to look at the state of our messed-up country and feel proud of his behavior in 2000?

8. *Sigh* - -well it's only 8 years too effing late
But worth the watch. I hope many many people get to see it and realize why I, for one, will never get over it.

9. Not that it would make anyone feel better about the decision
but rereading Justice Stephen's dissent in Bush v. Gore gives me some comfort; Stephen's dissent is eloquent, to the point, and in my view, unassailable. It's worth the read if you haven't already done so.
