Whorie Kurtz..."Cause Gloria Borger Told Me So..."

Just a few minutes ago on his TV treehouse, the "media critic" was discussing the incident of Obama calling a Detroit TV reporter "Sweetie" and then played Obama's message to the reporter. While the panel (including two blacks) said it was nothing big, Kurtz agreed only because "since there are no women on the panel...I spoke with Gloria Borger and she told me it's no big deal..." This is the beltway telephone game. Who the hell is Gloria Borger other than a media magpie? It's the "conventional wisdom" game at play here. While this is benign, whatif Borger had said she was "offended"...ya think Whorie would make a big deal about it?

I'm also curious if he'll do a follow-up on the Pentaganda case...he's been one of the few to do anything on this big story...

Yep...she's getting a paycheck from Time/Warner. I've always found this lady to be insufferable as she's a gadfly...not a journalist. She plays telephone operator...passing what she heard from one "journalist" or "source"...never having to attribute and then putting on an innocent smile.

I've got a better word that describes her "game"...but I don't want to offend whores.
