McCain tries out new campaign slogan. I think we could help it a little.

From Washington Post today:

...That is why McCain's first post-primary ad proclaimed him "the American president Americans have been waiting for." Not the "strong" or "experienced" president, though those are contrasts he could seek to draw with Obama. The "American" president -- because that's the only contrast through which McCain has even a chance of prevailing.

I think the slogan isn't American enough. He could do better:

"John McCain: The American that Americans who want an American President have been waiting for to rule America. God bless America."

What a fucktard.

2. Hmmm, wasn't he born in Panama--therefore, he's really "the Central American president Americans
have been waiting for."

6. Nice generic slogan that could apply to any of the 23 people who ran in the primaries. Of course,
we all know that Americans have been waiting for an Alien president.

John McCain: America needs a strong government
John McCain: Smash Islamo-fascism!

Submit these, but don't tell him the slogans are borrowed from Hitler.

9. "The American president Americans have been waiting for"...ROFL!!!
Seeing as the Constitution bars non-Americans from becoming president, it's good to know McSame's in compliance.

The Repub dumbing down of America has come home to roost!

10. How about "The Non-Dark-Skinned, Non-Watermelon-Eating...
...Non-Want-To-Seduce-Your-White-Daughter Candidate You've Been Waiting For."

Why not? Did you think the Obama Monkey T-shirts were the end of the story? They're just the beginning.

And if Clinton became the candidate, all he'd have to do was keep the "Non-Want-To-Seduce-Your-White-Daughter" part and he'd have that taken care of as well.

You poor fools think the GD-P section is as bad as it gets. You have no idea of the carnage scheduled to occur when the PROS start tearing the Democratic candidate apart. And, in the words of Bill Maher, "that shit works." Get ready for Bush's Third Term.

17. Just laying out the challenges that we haven't faced yet.
By "bleak," you suggest that I think there's no hope. I am hopeful, not a Pollyana. I just think we should be ready for the inevitable Republican and other right-wing attacks, and knock them down quickly.

You'll note I said "Republicans and other right wing." Although most Repub's wouldn't come near people like the Klan or the Libertarians , they'll use them to attack Obama surrepticiously. This WILL be a nasty campaign.

13. I'm a little more optimistic than that.
Edited on Wed May-14-08 10:55 AM by jpljr77
But I will concede that McCain will be doing some "wink-wink, nod-nodding" in debates on certain questions.

Example:

Tim Russert: "Senator McCain, why do you feel you are the best candidate to lead the country?"

Fucktard: "Well, I'm a real American, Tim. You know what I mean. I come from a solid ancestry that most Americans share, you know. I understand the need of most Americans, people like me, if you catch my drift."

In the meantime, America can elect a President who gives a shit about the country.
