1. The way I was raised...

It's considered impolite to ask another person (especially women, if the questioner is a man) how old he or she is. Maybe she doesn't understand that the reason doesn't have to be any more complicated than that. Personally, I err on the side of "Unless they're volunteering that information, it's none of my damned business" where such things are concerned.

2. This bimbo

has a twit moment EVERY day. I get so sick of her smug, know-it-all answers spouting right-wing talking points at every opportunity. I'm sure she is on the Bush administration's payroll.

I'll be here to support your posts! Rosie gave her a pretty good smackdown earlier in the week. Joy asked the twit how can you still support this president after all that's happened. The twit was speechless at first and then said something stupid like "I'm not in the same place I was 3 years ago". Then Rosie said "You're young and don't understand things--that's the only way I can justify staying on this broadcast and listening to you everyday." That's why the twit is all stirred up about this ageism thing.

Sorry if you posted this before--if you did I missed it. I send the twit a letter every once in awhile and ask her to please get off my TV.
