2. Why only 5,000,000?

With a 70% disapproval rating, he has at least 210,000,000 Americans who dislike him, if you can get your mind around that. Anyway, I'd set my sights higher.

5. In America, yeah

The rest of the world dislikes the guy too. The only beacons of support he has on this planet are among southern whites and people in Africa due to his Malaria, TB & HIV program (which was one of the few good things he did).

6. It would be interesting to calculate just how many people worldwide dislike bush.

My own belief is that in addition to being our worst president ever (duh), bush is also very likely the most disliked individual human being in the history of the species, simply in terms of the number of people in the world who know of him and don't like him.

Sure, a lot of people hated Hitler, or Attilla the Hun for that matter, but the world population was so much smaller and less interconnected and communications so much less widespread in earlier days that I don't think these or other villains could even begin to approach the sheer number of humans who feel antipathy for bush.

9. I think Hitler beats him

Hitler is probably known by the entire world and resented and hated by them.

But Bush is easily in the top 5 most despised human beings in human history.

If you mean contemporary figures and contemporary history (ie, only count the people who hated Hitler when he was alive but not after he died) then yeah, Bush is probably the most hated man on earth. There are far worse people though (Kim Jong Il for example) but Bush is probably #1.
