1. It's okay - let them have their little marginalized group
The GOP will find a spot for them right next to the Black Republicans and Log Cabin Republicans.

Hell, you could probably put all three groups in a hotel convention hall and still have plenty of space.

5. Well, he's right actually
The only thing is, nobody's suggesting doing any of the things he accuses us of suggesting. "Negotiating with our enemies" is probably not possible, but saying "negotiation might be better than immediately resorting to war" over issues like Iran isn't the same thing. Well, not in the real world. In Lieberman's cloudy mind, though, I guess it's a different story.

3. At least Mr. Taubman left the party.
He doesn't like the Dems anymore? That's a choice he's free to make.

Lieberman, on the other hand, holds onto his seat faking that he's a Dem.

Kudos to Taubman for his honesty, if not his analysis.

Lieberman is a leech.

4. Who's Glenn M. Taubman?
Never heard of him. The Republican Jewish Coalition is apparently his little attempt to make a name for himself.

6. "The Democratic Party is dominated by the far left" ??
That's news to me. When did that happen? Can we start celebrating this very sudden turn to the left?

7. So now does that mean that the Republican Party is now the ONLY choice for
"true" Christians and "true" Jews?

8. Ok, I looked this guy up. He's been a "former Democrat" for at least 25 years
For the past 25 years, Glenn M. Taubman has been a staff attorney for the National Right To Work Foundation, an anti-union organization that's funded by the biggest GOP moneybags in the country. They're the slime who helped push through -- get this name -- "Right to Work" laws, making it easier for employers to terminate employees at a moment's notice.

Glenn Taubman's profile is at the bottom of this pdf:

11. It's All About Israel
A lot of Jews can't see straight when it comes to the Homeland of the Jews. No matter what happens, they are pro-Israel. At the present time the Republicans are kowtowing like mad to the Israelis. It's no surprise that Republicans are attracting, ahem, converts.

Lieberman is all about Israel. So is Diane Feinstein. So are the neocons.
