If one dollar was one second:
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 05:09 AM by dave123williams
If dollars were seconds, it would take 12 days to reach a million dollars.

A billion seconds would take 32 years.

A trillion seconds would take 32,000 years.

In Iraq, it's estimated that this nation will have squandered more than 3 trillion.

That's if we get out next year.

If dollars were seconds, and we paid a dollar a second for this war, it would take nearly a hundred thousand years to pay off.

That's not counting the interest, because we're borrowing the money to pay for this idiotic folly.

2. Oh just because each and every one of us owes 20 grand for this
colossally illegal folly doesn't mean we all shouldn't just be pleased as punch over our 600 dollar bribe this summer.

Right. . .?

3. The bribe for the most part
will just end up as more profit for big oil.

4. And that is SUCH a worthy cause
with their record profit, tax breaks, deregulation, and total lack of culpability for the Exxon Valdez spill, they're hurting for certain.

Yikes

6. And placed end to end . . .
. . . the dollar bills would reach to the sun and several million miles past it. About 8 light-seconds worth of distance.
