Obama in Kenya
This is a while back but it shows how presidential Obama can be. To my mind the presidency needs an image change and Obama is the man. He would improve America's standing overnight. Gore will go on working for the environment regardless who is president and a Democratic president is very likely to work closely with him. So for me Obama is still the man, he's got the fight and there is a fight to come. link...

Obama was welcomed in Kenya with open arms and things were going
great until he flubbed a bit. He complained about corruption to the news
media instead of using diplomacy and working on the issue with gov.
officials. Remember they were outraged? To me, this showed how his
charm can cause crowds to go wild, but it also showed his lack of experience
in international diplomacy. Still he is my second choice. He will certainly have
good advisors around him. Al Gore, however, has the experience and knows
how to achieve goals. We need someone who can start making huge changes
on day one of his/her presidency. Al Gore is the person who can do that.

Obama would make a great vice president and eventually, a great president.

3. actually he gave a couple of speeches in which he addressed corruption...
they were MEANT for public consumption...he wanted THE PEOPLE to know he was aware of the problems they faced and he wanted to explain to them how it affected thier lives...and in one of the places he went, there was an upcoming election and he was encouraging support for a candidate who had come out against corrupt officals...he knew what he was doing and fully expected the reaction...btw, Al Gore isn't in the race... and may never be
