Teacher Charged Students $5 For Cup Of Beer At House Keg Party
Police: Teacher Charged Students $5 For Cup Of Beer At House Keg Party
Woman, Boyfriend Face Charges

MELBOURNE, Fla. -- A Central Florida elementary teacher house-sitting and baby-sitting for a fellow teacher purchased a keg and charged $5 per cup at a party, which was attended by about 60 students, police said on Friday.

Emily Meyer, 30, of Indian Harbour Beach and a teacher at Saturn Elementary School in Cocoa, was house-sitting for Penny Riffe, who teaches at Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, in January, according to police. Meyer was also responsible for Riffe's 16-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son, police said.

The teen suggested that Meyer should throw a party, so Meyer purchased a keg of beer at Wal-Mart, police said.

Meyer and her boyfriend, James Ali, 26, of Rockledge, charged each person $5 for a cup of beer at the party in an effort to recoup the cost of the keg, police said.

About 60 students, most of whom attend Eau Gallie High School, attended the party, police said.

8. I put a rofl thing there.....
thought it might indicate something funny.....

So you would agree that using negative stories about homeschooling is not a good reason for people to object it?

9. What Kind Of Beer?
I didn't know Wally Mart sold kegs of beer.

$5/Cup is not bad if it's imported, but would be overpriced for some U.S. corporate piss water like Coors.
