He'll be 76 by the end of his first term. If he were re-elected, he'd be 80 by the end of his second term!

Do you really feel comfortable with someone in their late 70s or early 80s making such life altering choices?

22. actually, McCane (as in walking stick) would work
if you were going to continue pointing out his age.

I still think he looks like the creepy preacher from Poltergeist :scared:

"It's 3 AM in the White House, and John McCain can't find the red phone. Something's happening in the world, but he can't remember where he put the red button, or was it the red phone? Hell, he's so old, even I'm starting to forget things while talking about him."

10. Is this the best argument against McCain?
Better than his rampant unthinking hawkishness or his corruption or his hypocrisy?

Point out whatever you like and, then, deal with the consequences.

:wtf:

The fact that the worst president in history endorsed him today won't help him.

Absolutely, all things being equal, because the persons age qua age is irrelevant. Appealing to bigoted sentiments about age is, well, bigoted and nothing of which the Democratic Party should have any part.

20. Relax......
I have serious doubts he'll make it through the campaign. Not only his age is an issue but he had a malignant melanoma. Those types of cancer never really go away.

David Letterman makes jokes about McCain's age every night....i.e. "He looks like the greeter at Walmart" or "He looks like the guy who can't see above the steering wheel on the car" etc.

23. I heard an interesting theory about McCain's age & his candidacy...
The Republicans know they're going to lose this year so they need a disposable candidate who won't try to run again in 2012 or 2016.
