Edited on Mon Feb-26-07 08:15 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
I'm beginning to wonder if ANYTHING is going to get them impeached. Now we find out that they're FUNDING terrorists? (Story I just heard on KO.) WHAT THE HELL?! This country is getting more and more fucked up by the minute and still, the mention of impeachment is off the table. WTF?!
Does the asshole have to get caught getting a blow job in order to get impeached?! Son of a bitch!
What do you think has to happen in order for him to get impeached?!

What the hell?! When they took over, we all had such high hopes for them. Now they're a joke just like the republican congress. Oh is this shit ever going to end?!

15. mmonk....
you hit it right on the head. I don't think congress cares anymore. We elected them in November to do a job and they sure haven't shown me anything other than Ms Nancy getting to ride in a military plane.

Non-binding resolution? What the hell is that gonna prove...more importantly what DID it prove? Business as usual is all it proved to me....talk talk talk....no action. Nothing has passed both houses that I am aware of since the dems took "POWER" in January...and if something did, shame on me for not catching it amongst all the Anna is dead news.

Besides, if I am not mistaken, the American public has spoken LOUD and CLEAR as to what the priorites were and that was to end the war in Iraq and get Bush and cronies out of office....again, neither of which has been done by them.

As far as impeachment goes, who the hell knows anymore what it would take...and if it were as simple as a blue dress, he would have been gone long ago for letting bald cross dressing ex-marines in the white house under guise of 'press corps.'

Cheney is bound and determined to go to war with Iran and of course since he is prez, he will make it happen.

I would bet we will be at 'war' with Iran by no later than the first of April if it even takes that long...and then it will be REALLY interesting to see what the clusterfuck congress does then. Probably allocate funds and have a hearing to see what color jumpsuit they will let the cheerleader wear on what ship this time and how much money for a new "mission accomplished" banner should cost the taxpayers.

Because they know if they did, their favorite boy would be out on his ass in a heartbeat. I keep hearing REPUBLICANS in OKLAHOMA asking why he's not been booted to the curb. You know when they start talking about it in a red state, it needs to happen.

36. Impeachment
The key to impeachment is the vote in the house. They are body that votes for the articles of impeachment. The Senate the holds a trial with the Chief Justice as the Judge. If convicted by the Senate, removal from office is the only punishment that the Senate can impose.

20. You've got the cart before the horse here
In '73 it would have been impossible to find enough members of the House to Impeach Nixon. By mid-'74, done deal.

We don't have to convict, just make life a living hell for the shrub and he'd quit too....

Then cheney would finally have his long delayed heart attack from the shock...voila

President Pelosi...

Frankly, I'd rather see President Pelosi than President Clinton II....

22. I'm with you on that... and make no bones about admitting it either...
As for the Shrub quitting, I don't think that would happen unless he was given assurances that he would not face the many crimes that he would be facing... I for one would not vote for giving this POS a walk on his numerous crimes.... Not sure what it will be like having to out last him and then get him as his rule ends, but at this point, I sure as hell would be willing to take that chance... I want to see this A...hole swing from the highest tree, or maybe even see his head come off in a hanging that supposedly went wrong.....

43. I keep imagining a line...and Bush Inc are continually told *IF*
you do this, we'll do this...so Bush Inc do whatever...and instead of repercussions, the challenger takes a step backward , draws a new line, once again declares "if you do this,we'll do this", and the game starts all over again

Did I mention I imagine this happening on a cliff?

So with each new line drawn, the challenger gets closer and closer to the edge of the cliff...Bush Inc continues to call the bluff... eventually, the challenger falls off the cliff...taking the whole of America with them

Sometimes (most days, actually) I think we're already in free fall.
