So I think the gist of it is bush was led to believe that no one would be
held accountable for this illegal action if it was tied to him because no
one would dare hold him accountable.

FISA says companies can't cooperate with gov. without a court order.

So, the telecoms broke the law and the adminsitration is trying to say
the King Bush has the right to do what he wants. That we are no longer
a law abiding nation. And the function of the AG is to support the
Boy King in all his actions.

Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 12:34 PM by Old Broad
The administration hired this Schmuck to do the administraions bidding and do it better
than Gonzo.

Gonzo was not smart enough to tie people up in legal knots. What he lacked in smarts
he made up for in blind loyalty.

Now they have their man who has the loyalty, the smarts and the legal skill to obstruct
and evade with confidence.

He cannot and will not give an answer on torture. Bush really got him man.

101. Yikes,

I'd have to read the transcrip of this go get a good
idea of exactly what the hell he is saying.

He never answers a question.

But he is getting tired and not as fast on the verbal draw as before
in the session.
