6. That's what I do, too. I'm usually a pretty laid back person, but

if I watch him speak I find myself yelling at him through the tv (not very effective) and I have a desire to throw things at him (not very good for the tv). I cannot think of another person who has ever had that kind of effect on me. I don't know what it does for my blood pressure, but I don't believe it's good for my health to watch him. I feel like I need to know what the sneaky bastard is saying, though, so I look for the transcript online later and try not to hear his voice in my head while I'm reading it.

8. The only coverage I could stand was local Pacifica station

that had an "intant truth squad" calling him out on his lies in real time (and then some -- little snarky asides as well that had me laughing out loud). I don't know if they're doing it again this year but if not, I'll probably just wait for Olbermann/Tweety recap afterward.

10. I'm prepared to yell at the TV

I'm watching. The only question is should I drink beer, white wine or red wine. Hubby refuses to watch. He'll get his laughs as I respond to Bush with 'Fuck you etc. etc.'!

I was going to suggest that DUs raise a glass each time we say 'fuck you' but I fear that my head will hit the monitor within ten minutes. :D

14. I'm pretty sure I don't have enough alcohol in the house to see me

through the entire speech if I were to take a drink at every 'fuck you'. Come to think of it, I don't believe I have ever imbibed that much in one evening in my entire life.
