British Airways CEO Willie Walsh also praised his staff, calling them, "heroes", according to the BBC

This crew is freakin amazing to land and be alive

talk about having Guardian angels

But heres the mystery two engines fail??? they lost power at the same time
Many in the industry are raising eyebrows what the hell happened
Question for Duers could someone hack into the plane computers and shut the engines down???
or is that not possible
I admit I am a :tinfoilhat:

3. Sure sounds like an electronic glitch
and one that overrode commands from the pilot and copilot, something that should never happen.

Sounds like a switch froze or fried, take your pick.

7. Could also be fuel related.
Both engines shut down at the same time. 3 possible causes, electronics (engine control), fuel system or pilot error.

6. Surely there's a backup system on passenger jet engines?
How could both systems on both engines fail at the same time?

8. There is

redundancy built into the system but by the time they realized they had no power lever response it probably was to late to do anything about it. When 220 + tons is that close to the ground, things happen pretty fast.

9. The pilot seems to handle all "hot" situations. See link for pics.
