Has anyone else run across this little quirk with the DU software?
If I click on a Democratic Underground link on a Google search page when I click back here to DU I have to re-log on again?

Maybe its just my computer?

Is it?

Don

2. Thank you. Did you have to re-log in manually when you came back here?
I do.

6. DUh I see what you mean. No, I just hit the back button and it works.
I misunderstood what you meant at first.

3. I don't have that problem with Mozilla (SeaMonkey)
Of course, I do all things like Google and News in a separate tabbed window - and my DU window remains open.

If it's a Google link in a DU post, it just opens in a new window and tehre's no problem.

4. Randomly logged me out tonight too. Likely a browser/cookie issue not the software
It never hurts to delete your cookies and cache from time to time. Login cookies can and do become corrupted/broken.

5. The only time that happens to me is when I've cleaned up cookies.
I don't know what cookies are and I don't know why they do that, but that's what happens.
