Economic Help: Price of Gas
Hey you guys in DC. Really want to help us and the country? Make sure the price of gas goes lower, down to at least $1.50 a gallon.

These high gas prices are killing us, and relief could come in weeks, be temporary, and help everyone across the board.

I don't care how it's done, but lowering gas prices is the only thing that will help me and the people I know to deal with the rising prices of everything.

3. Really
If they want to do something and do it quick, lower gas prices is the ticket.

Of course, one of the reasons gas has gone up is that the oil that used to come from Iraq no longer flows. That's the only shortage I can think of.

4. One of the reasons they wanted to take out Saddam was because he kept thumbing his nose at OPEC.
He would raise and lower prices at his whim, and not playing the OPEC/Saudi/Exxon game.

The price is high, because of control of the market. And the weak dollar.

Read Greg Palast's Armed Madhouse.

5. Yep
Our invasion profitted Oil Arabia quite nicely. In fact, you could say we are fighting the Saudi Kings war, for him.

2. Windfall Profits Tax.
It would start improving our bottom line immediately, and give less incentive to the oil mega-corporations to price gouge.
