As I posted in my comment there (currently pending approval), WHY is this non-story so high up on their homepage? Yes, I realize that they like to link candidate specific blogs next to large stories of any given candidate (and they do this for ALL candidates), but couldn't they have left this one alone, i.e. just placed it where it belongs elsewhere on the site due to it's level of importance (or lack thereof)?

All this does is provide (some) critics and (all) idiots a reason to make non-substantive remarks about Obama and drug use. The issue itself is non-substantive and irrelevant! And yes, that applies to ALL candidates. How many of us experimented as teenagers (including our current dope of a president)? Give me a break!

If this story was about Hillary or Edwards I would feel the same way. After all, as I've said before, the stories about Edwards hair and house and Hillary's tipping and laugh are RIDICULOUS. While I *am* growing impatient with the politically correct police who insist that *any* criticism of a dem candidate is somehow "bashing", I also can't stand non-substantive criticism. We should be free to criticize, in fact *encouraged* to do so, as long as our blows land above the belt.
