5. Well, they're all in pretty bad shape.
Citigroup would have already failed without bailouts from investors.
Bank of America and Washington Mutual are not far behind.

10. Wells in not even close to as fucked up as Citigroup.
They haven't even come close to running a loss yet, much less going bankrupt.

7. Don't worry,
The bushes, and the go along Dems, are going to give us stimulation. They are going to give us a tax rebate. Just like that last tax rebate they took out of my tax refund.

They'll give me a miserly $300 in 2008, that I'll use to pay may bills. And the uber rich will get millions that they will use to cushion the blow of the next Great Depression they caused.

Then in 2009, I'll deduct it from my tax refund and end up with the same amount of money overall anyway.

But it will temporarily stimulate the economy and the bushes get to escape from office before the next really big economic crash. That way they can blame the depression on the next president. It is all good.

11. my retirement came due in Sept. of 2006
They did everything they could to get me to leave it with Fidelity (where it had been invested). As soon as I could get it I took it rather than wait. It is locked up tight in a 6.25% CD for 5 years at present. I am so glad I did this.

I wonder how Fidelity is doing these days?

Note to anyone that has a pension coming: Take the money and run, don't let them keep it with their "promises" invested in the stock market! :grr:

22. There are positive divergences on the McClellan oscillators,
although have to watch the summation charts as well, especially the Nasdaq summation.

18. Ah, the stock market, the only area where going down is bad.
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 02:55 PM by originalpckelly
If prices go down in other areas, it's nice. If someone goes down in other areas, that's extra nice. BUT, when the stock market goes down, no one's getting off without pain.
