and he sat there and said with a straight face that he was sure smirk and snake wouldn't make money that way.

4. At the very least, the Carlyle Group makes money that passes on to Poppy that will eventually pass

on to Bush*. That's why it is a crime family.
Like profits from Prescott's trading with the enemy passed on to the family. War profiteering is their business. Politics provides them with information, and promotes the war on the backs of the rest of the population. It never costs them, because they will come out as winners financially in every war.
