John Edwards Sets The Debate Of This Campaign
For me, John Edwards may not be leading in the corporate media polls, but he is leading in setting the debate of this campaign. And in setting the debate he is making that very corporate media and their minions very nervous. The thought that his message would resonate with enough Americans to spark a social movement not seen since the time of Bobby Kennedy frankly scares the shit out of them because it threatnens their comfort zone. That is why I am supporting John Edwards in 2008.

I am supporting him because I frankly think it is time to scare the shit out of the corporatocracy in this country that has stripped America of all it was borne to represent. And that is not greed at the expense of those less fortunate and the workers of this country who are its backbone. It is not hate geared towards those who do not fit their mold of what an American should look, act, and think like. It is not war at the expense of those they promise the American dream to and then kill on a battlefield. It is not profit at the expense of our planet. And it is not fear at the expense of all the principles we hold dear.

So I will be calling voters in South Carolina for John Edwards... and in New York, and New Jersey, and any other state he needs me to make calls, because this is a fight not only for the soul of the Democratic party, but the soul of America. In the end polls mean nothing, but heart does. I believe John Edwards has the heart to go the distance. And the corporate media better be scared.
