Mitt is is just TOO through. From the debate tonight:
Mitt "pounced on" Huckabee for his anti-Bush remarks, all the while trying to push the now popular "change" theme. Now how can you be for change and think Bush's worst screw ups are so brilliant? WHAT WOULD HE CHANGE THEN?

"The president is not arrogant. The president is not subject to a bunker mentality," Romney said. "The president has acted out of his desire to keep America safe. And we owe him a debt of gratitude for keeping this country safe over the last six years."

Jesus, even Republicans wouldn't buy THAT....would they?

1. Mitt, like so many others
talk about change, but have no clue as to what kind of change the people want.

2. I had to laugh at them.

All those republicans spoke about change, then praised * and told us, essentially, that they would continue his hare-brained policies.

And Mittens? Even his hair looked defeated! Did you see how flat it was? Maybe one of his advisers heard the jokes about his perfect hair and thought he should make it look a bit more...uh...ordinary?

3. Mitt seems bewildered like,
Why don't they love me? I'm so IT!

I only saw part of it, DID HE EVER SAY ANYTHING HE WOULD DO DIFFERENT THAT BUSH?

9. take his health care policy national... which lead to a really funny exchange
with Thompson. Mitt babbles mentions "Mandate" (eg requirement at the state level) and Thompson says "Mandate, did you say Mandate" (stretching out the word Man-date with his drawl) Mitt says yes I said Mandate and what I meant was Mandate... Thompson interrupts, to reiterate the focus on the word MANDATE used by Mitt.

Mitt looked peturbed and ruffled (as he did frequently last night.)

5. but the greatest mitt-moment was when he told Huckabee not to
criticize his position on Iraq, and Huckabee quipped "which one"

and also when McCain said he was the "candidate of change" after being characterized as a flip-flopper

Bush family hedges its bets for 2008
By Alexander Bolton
March 26, 2007

Much of Jeb’s inner circle has picked Romney. The list includes Sally Bradshaw, who served as Gov. Bush’s campaign manager in 1994 and 1998 and as his first gubernatorial chief of staff; Ann Herberger, who was the governor’s campaign finance director; and Mandy Fletcher, who recently headed Bush’s think tank, Foundation for Florida’s Future, and worked on his reelection. In addition, Alan Philp, Bush’s former policy director, is coordinating policy and issues for Romney.

Jeb Bush’s former lieutenant governor Toni Jennings, Al Cardenas, who served as Florida GOP chairman under Jeb, David Griffin, who headed Jeb’s second -term transition office and was the Florida Lottery Secretary, Sherri McVay, executive director of Jeb’s statewide advocacy council, and Kristy Campbell, the former governor’s press secretary, are all playing roles in Romney’s campaign.

10. Yeah I think BushCo is 1st choice Romney, 2nd Giuliani
To keep the corporate fascism thing going, and I for one could not be more delighted to see them sinking like stones.

The Xtians are not going with the corporatists this time and that's got to be putting the fear of GAWD into the criminals at BushCo Oil Inc.!

11. It is till a four candidate contest in the Repug circle.
I still suspect that the Twit will receive the nod & Jeb will be the VP on the Twit's run.
The Bush Crime Family usually gets what it wants.

12. He's a hypocrite too.
Yea, he saw great inequality among the people, some lifting themselves up with their pride, despising others, turning their backs upon the needy and the naked and those who were hungry, and those who were athirst, and those who were sick and afflicted.

13. This was the first time I watched the Repug debate
Good Goodness they are a terrifying lot! My husband and I were cringing in disgust at their policies. I can see why Mittens is so unlikeable the way he was smirking and acting like an arrogant puff of air. Guiliani CANNOT become president because he is utterly clueless and could be possibly worse than Bush. Poor Grandpa Fred almost missed a question because he was napping ("huh, what was the question") A box of rocks could run againist these losers and win. Oh, and McCain is tired and done.

14. Mitt has already been chosen by the power elite.
Huckabee scares the cheese out of them. At least that's my take. I have no idea why on either though.
