Nader seemed to hint at supporting Edwards, and he has a particular hatred for the Clintons (the "progressive" Nader supported Clinton's impeachment in 1998, BTW).

Now that Obama's chances for the nomination have improved, it should be asked if Nader would stay out if Barack was nominated.

1. My bet is Nader will run if Obama is the Dem candidate
Obama is an obvious corporatist which is everything Nader is against.

What would you like broken? The truth hurts.
And some of us will continue speaking that truth, regardless of the shit thrown at us.

15. If Obama (or Hillary) is the nominee it won't be on DU
Skinner has made it very clear that politicking against the eventual nominee will not be tolerated on this board.

4. He's an old fool, and there's no fool like an old fool. He'll probably run, and
anyone who supports his hubris-laden, demented ass should be pointed at and ridiculed in the streets!

He'll run if Edwards or Clinton are nominated, too, I think. He loves putting his beak in, even when no one wants to hear from him.

He needs to get off his ass, though, he's running out of time unless he pulls some sort of Write-In nonsense.

6. I don't think so. He might be inspired to run against Hillary
but even he knows what a joke his campaign has become. He lost 85% of his support from 2000 to 2004.

7. I don't think he will run
I don't believe he's completely happy, but I think he's waiting to see what the impeachment movement will produce to decide what he wants to do.

8. He may sit it out but Bloomberg may jump in -- and he is actually more
dangerous than Nader, imho.

I second MADem - anyone who supports the weenie ought to be pointed and laughed at.

18. After 8 yrs. of Bush, if it's even close enough for a Nader run to make a difference, then
democracy is irrevocably broken and the election system corrupt.

Nader is irrelevant.

It's not the year 2000.

No one gives a fuck what he does.
