War on terror in Iraq is creating new terrorists. Whaddayaknow, CNN is
finally connecting the dots. There was a study done at NYU (?) that backed this theory, with numbers.
Well, duh!
I hope lots of people took that little report to heart.
And FWIW, thanks, CNN, for not covering the insipid trial du jour.

1. Death and Destruction embolden and motivate those who intend to become
Islamic martyrs or tribal heroes. People who think they are deterred by violence are very stupid. Violence emboldens them. Those who support the Invasion of Iraq embolden the enemy.

2. Yet when Kerry ws saying this in 2004 campaign, the corpmedia ignored his point
in favor of trumpeting Bush's hero status as the foremost fighter of terrorism.

CNN has been playing at CYA journalism now in an effort to play some catch up now that Bush administration is stuck with their low poll numbers.

3. I suppose there is a lot about any candidate's situation in/with the media
that we don't understand. Things about how they're going to get shut down if they don't tow the company line, so they can actually loose their "voice" entirely. I still wish candidates would trust us more, that if they'd commit themselves to making things like this perfectly clear, and repeat, repeat and attract more attention themselves by being forceful about it, people would start thinking . . . .
