I still support John Edwards
but I can get behind Obama too.

I have my doubts about whether he understands what he'll be up against, but I think he'll learn fast enough.

1. If nothing else, maybe he can have
Edwards write his campaign stuff for him as he just adlibbed most of what Edwards has been saying for years....I know Obama is capable of doing his own stuff - witness his speech at the convention......

Obama speaks well. Historically well. He is obviously very bright and that should imply fast learner...put Edwards on the ticket and the Nation just might actually have a chance to fight the corporate oligarchy...

Peace.

edited to clarify 'the' ticket...not sure whose ticket it would be but together it might have a chance...

22. Her husband hardly placed in Iowa
and only made second in New Hampshire. It's way too early to see how things will shape out. Poppy was the one to beat in 1988 and he got plastered in Iowa by Dole and Pat Freakin' Robertson.

14. Keep supporting him
As the field narrows it will become increasingly harder to skirt issues and duck questions. I don't believe obama, with his nose stuck up in the air, will be able to to compete with edwards on the real issues.

There is no real substance behind Obama, only the profile that you see on your tv screen. Look it up.

37. I agree. Obama is a say-nothing candidate.
The only thing I got policy-wise from his "victory speech" is that he still opposes universal healthcare.

Ugh.

28. no he won't be able to compete
With others out of the race more time will be given to debates, and more people will notice Obama's favorite *non-answers* to questions - or his *let me just sound like MLK or JFK* answers that carry no real substance. He speaks a lot - but hot air doesn't hold up under scrutiny.

Edwards will blow him out of the room with passion and a PLAN.
