Obama's statement reponding to Rep Kucinich
Obama statement thanking Kucinich

"I have a lot of respect for Congressman Kucinich, and I’m honored that he has done this because we both believe deeply in the need for fundamental change," said Senator Obama. "He and I have been fighting for a number of the same priorities -- including an end to the war in Iraq that we both opposed from the start, reforming Washington and creating a better life for America's working families. I encourage all Iowans to take part in the caucuses this Thursday – not because it will be good for any one candidate, but because it will be good for our party and the future of our country."

6. Strange.
Most Kucinich supporters would make Edwards their second choice rather than Obama. He must have a strategy in mind where this helps him.

7. That's what I thought too, but...what do I know?
;) I see JK as the most Progressive candidate of the top 3....closer to Kucinich's stances. I'd love to know what that strategy is.

Stop Clinton?

8. As a former Kucinich supporter
and someone who places a high priority on health care reform, I've decided to support Edwards. Obama's plan isn't good.

9. Didn't have his supporters support Edwards four years ago?
I think it's funny because four years ago Edwards was more moderate than he is now. But maybe he doesn't think that Edwards conversion has been authentic?

10. There must be a strategy in mind here.
Edwards is closer to Kucinich than Obama as far as the voters are concerned. Kucinich did not try in Iowa at all, but he's worked very hard in New Hampshire. I can't read this.
